Transportation Logistics Assistant
SwimUSA Fiberglass Pools is actively searching for a Transportation Logistics Assistant to join our small family-owned business. We manufacture inground fiberglass swimming pools that are sold to contractors throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas. If you have previous transportation/logistics experience, attention to detail AND have a great personality, we would love to speak with you. We currently have very limited foot traffic at our office and individual offices are socially distanced.
Job Description: Ensure registrations are current on company vehicles, pull permits and coordinate with permit companies, be a point of contact for the transportation department, outfitting escorts with proper equipment and documentation, coordinating with escorts, scheduling escorts and truck drivers, hook up trailers, quality assurance safety check, coordinate police escorts, maintain storage/loading yard, and other related tasks.
Skills: Previous transportation/logistics experience required. Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Windows 10, email, Google Drive, excellent communication and attention to detail. Must be able to work independently, take direction and be reliable.
